The EVM Factory mints Enumium Virtual Machines — persistent, ownable computers whose identity outlives any piece of hardware. A machine is no longer a box on your desk; it is an EnumID that assembles the compute, storage, and presence it needs from wherever those resources physically live.
What the Factory makes
A permanent machine identity
Every EVM gets an EnumID like enum_machine_000001 and a manufacturing serial, bound to your SiloID. Minted once, on a monotonic sequence — never re-minted, never duplicated.
Drawn from the Silo network
Runtime, storage, mail, apps, and AI are provisioned as distributed bins across Silo nodes, then assembled into one coherent machine — capabilities gathered from wherever they live.
One workspace
Every graphical EVM presents SiloOS V5: a single ambient desktop for your files, communications, wallet, applications, and connected devices.
How you use one
Mint
Request an EVM from the Factory. It issues a Factory-signed birth record and your EnumID through an 11-stage, hash-chained assembly line.
Install or serve
Download a self-contained installer for a device, or open the same machine served / installable as a PWA from anywhere. Same EnumID either way.
Roam
Sign in as your SiloID on any device and resume your machine. Presence follows you; the machine is yours regardless of the screen in front of you.
Identity, not location
SiloID is who you are. EnumID is which machine. A machine's manufacturing order is its build lineage — not a second identity. This is ambient computing: your computer is defined by its identity and capabilities, assembled on demand from wherever those capabilities physically live — a local device, a cloud node, or a screen you borrowed for the afternoon.
